The Air Cadet Cross Country event took place on 24th Feburary 2013 at RAF Barnham.
Cadets Bird & Jacklin & Adams & Sadler & Coleman & Lee & Walker
The course was three miles long through woodland, various slopes and dodgy terrain. It was that dodgy that a couple of cadets managed to hurt themselves but still finished the course, and finished light years in front of the individuals towards the back of the pack.
In total there were five categories of races the first race began at 11:00am which was the Junior Boys race in which Corporal Adams finished Third and bagged himself a place in the inter wing compitition in the near future. Well Done !!

Then 20mins after that the Junior Girls race started. As an average the course took 35mins to complete. The races started when the staff expected the other races to be about half way through.
Then came the Boys Senior race followed by the other girls race and the final race to take place was the Adult Boys race.
As there was a presentation at the end we had a lot of waiting to do, but when the presenting ended at around 2:00pm we arrived back at the squadron around 3:00pm where we then went home to end the day.
