The Annual Squadron ‘Open Evening’ for Friends and Family held at the Squadron Headquarters on Carr Road, Felixstowe on the 4th August 2014.
Guests of Honour: Squadron Leader Deere, Wing Sector Officer and Flt Lt Nick Castle, Wing Deputy Training Officer.
The evening, introduced and conducted by the OC, Flt Lt Andrew Garrett, started with a review of the years activities, qualifications and personal achievements for the Squadron. He then handed over to the Cadets who undertook to relate more details regarding Flying, WingField Competition, Sports and the recent Adv Training camp to Ascension Island. On completion of the presentations, it was time for the Annual Awards:

The Friends and Family were then invited to partake in a number of interactive activities including Raft Building, Archery and How to put up a 12x12 in record time, and to look at the different exhibits detailing all the activities that the cadets undertake.
